    In July 2024, Lifted Fellows Network gathered 150 students, freshers and final-year undergraduates, at Delta State University, Ozoro, in a room filled with questions, hopes, and untapped potential.

    Some came searching for direction. Some came burdened by uncertainty about life after school. Some came simply because they felt there had to be more.

    Activate Your Potential 1.0 was born for that moment — more than an event, it was a mission-driven empowerment experience designed to help young people pause, reflect, and realign mentally, spiritually, and practically for life beyond the classroom.

    01
    The Essence of Life
    At the heart of the gathering was a powerful ministration on "The Essence of Life," inspired by the book by Dr. David Ogbueli. The message re-centered participants on purpose, identity, and the meaning of a life lived intentionally. For many, it became a turning point.
    An altar call followed, and students stepped forward to receive Christ and rededicate their lives, marking a moment of spiritual awakening and renewed commitment.     It was a reminder that true growth is holistic — spirit, mind, and skill.

    The programme moved intentionally from inspiration to action. Through guided lectures and conversations on personal development, career clarity, and personal branding, participants were supported to:

    • Discover their strengths
    • Clarify their direction
    • Begin positioning themselves intentionally for future opportunities

    These sessions challenged students to think beyond grades and certificates and to see themselves as evolving individuals with value, voice, and responsibility.

    Participants gained access to mentorship and career guidance from experienced professionals, helping them map realistic academic and career pathways, while vision-building and goal-setting sessions encouraged long-term thinking, accountability, and ownership of personal growth, transforming abstract dreams into clear, actionable plans.
